How It Works

Our Out-of-Sight Fencing System® uses a digital radio signal to keep your dog within the boundaries. A thin wire is placed underground, creating the safety perimeter designed by you and your local Dog Guard® Dealer. Each installation is customized, which means you define the boundaries for your dog. Once the signal wire is buried to create the containment area, boundary flags are set up within the perimeter. The Dog Guard® Dealer who installs your system will provide you with training and instructions with to acclimate your dog to their boundaries! Your dog is given a comfortable collar with a small receiver to wear around its neck. This receiver works with the signal wire and emits a safe stimulus level when your dog approaches the barrier. If your dog continues forward, a second field emits the maximum correction to prevent escape.

The Equipment
