What Does It Mean To Be A Dealer?

Dog Guard® operates in a model similar to that of a franchise. You have complete ownership of your local business, the ability to sell Dog Guard® products, and the support and training you need. But here’s the best part: it’s all without that monthly franchise fee.

You also have the freedom and flexibility to:

  • Set your own schedule.

  • Provide quotes (along with your team).

  • Train customers’ dogs.

  • And all the other liberties of running your own business!

The Process

Becoming a Dog Guard® Dealer usually takes 3-4 months. Within this time, you work with our team to ensure your new business is set up and ready for success.

First, you talk with the Dog Guard® Home Office and express interest in becoming a dealership owner, and from there, our team will contact you and go over more details and information. Then, we will discuss with you where to set up your business. Dog Guard® has locations all over the U.S., and our team will work with you to find a place that best suits you and your interests. Once you have found a spot, we will continue with the onboarding process with your letter of intent, a background check, and a Dealer contract. We can also answer any questions that you may have along the way. Finally, before you open, you will receive all the tools, equipment, and training you need to fulfill your dream of becoming a successful business owner.
